Can anyone tell me how to post you-tube videos to my blog ... or how to make fancy links to other sites that show up as the word "here" in my text? Been trying to figure it out on my own but am a bit of a blogger beginner. Anyone ... anyone?
When you find a video you want to post usually to the side or the bottom of it there is an embed code. Click on that and copy it. Go to your post that you are making. There are two tabs on the top right of where you type. One says something about the HTML and the other one is compose. Click on the HTML and paste the embed code on there and then go back to the compose tab where you type. Only a box will show up on you screen so if you click on preview it will show you what it really looks like. Does that make any sence? I just figured that out a few days ago myself. Hopefully that helps.
I'm so glad someone posted about the youtube link...I can never get that to work!
But the other I DO know how to do! When you are writing a post there is a picture that looks like a globe with () on it at the top of the composing box. First highlight the word you want linked, then click on that picture and type in the address you want it linked to! WALA! (Hmmm, that doesn't seem spelled rirght, oh well) there you have! Make sense?
